Three cyclists on the road

65.2km
615.2m
527.1m

Today we'll meet Baptiste, François's brother, in Dinan because he'll join us to ride to Vannes, where a big part of François's family lives. We leave Saint-Malo not without trouble, we want to go through the dam on the Rance but the road is very dangerous for bicycles. Indeed there is a lot of traffic on 2 lanes and no emergency lane. We also have the misfortune to arrive at the opening of the bridge allowing the pleasure craft to pass.

We lost a bit of time but we joined a green way which makes us to arrive very quickly in Dinan, a very pretty city. We find Baptiste and the father of François who came to drop Baptiste. Once Baptiste's stuff are stored in our bags, we head for Vannes.

We aren't long in the shade, it's very hot. Fifteen kilometers further, Baptiste get a flat tire, his inner tube must have a defect. We use the only spare tube for his bike and leave. The countryside is pretty, there are some hills.

In the evening we look for a place to sleep between two villages. We find a spot near an artificial pond, far from everything and in the shade. Floriane volunteers herself to sleep outside under the tarp, we cannot fit in the tent.
